4M passengers in a year: first time at Cagliari Airport

The record figure was announced today, December 14th 2017: Cagliari Airport saw 4 million travelers pass through its doors to date, two weeks before the end of the year, making 2017 the busiest year ever in the history of the main Sardinian hub.To celebrate the achievement, KLM gave the lucky 4millionth passenger, Mr Alessandro De Nicola, a free return ticket to New York valid for two people. Volotea, Vueling, easyJet, ISOLA and Cagliari Calcio provided more flight tickets and gifts for some other travelers and for the athletes of Team Sardegna Special Olympics Italia who spent the day at the airport.
