New exhibition ‘Sardegna archeologica’

Focus on the archaeological past of Sardinia for 'Sardegna archeologica. Museo a cielo aperto', the new exhibition opening today at Cagliari Airport. Passengers and visitors of the air terminal will have the chance to walk among life-sized copies of the Giganti di Mont’e Prama - impressive stone sculptures carved in local sandstone discovered in the 70’s near Oristano – and reproductions of Nuragic bronze statues. Garments, pottery, tools, weapons and shields looking exactly like the ancient originals will also help to recreate the atmosphere of the early stages of Sardinian history.
