ENAC campaigns for security in Sardinian airports

The Italian Civil Aviation Authority in collaboration with Cagliari Airport, Alghero Airport and Olbia Airport, has launched a campaign to help passengers through security checks and minimize waiting times during the last week end of August. Volunteers will provide useful information on security rules to travelers taking off from Sardinia. A leaflet with focus on prohibited and restricted items will also be available both online and at each airport.

Airport Service Charter 2014 now available

Cagliari Airport Service Charter and Guide ed. 2014 is now available both online and in the passengers terminal. The document – soon to be downloaded also in the iBook format - contains precious and detailed information on the airport quality standards and on the services provided at the main gateway to Sardinia. Maps, fares, contact details and much more to help travellers plan their journey.

Kiss&Fly parking area tomorrow open

The new Kiss&Fly parking will open on Thursday, July 31st 2014. 37 parking places right in front of the Departures area with easy access to the terminal and completely free of charge for all vehicles driving through for pick-ups and drop-offs and stays of less than 15 min; for longer stays, normal rates apply (see table above for fees).

New boutique for General Aviation guests

A brand new boutique has been inaugurated today, July 11th 2014, inside the General Aviation Terminal at Cagliari Airport. Luxury brands and top quality products from Sardinia and Italy are now available to VIPs, managers and travellers landing in Cagliari with private or executive jets.

New parking area and improved road system

A brand new parking area has been inaugurated today, July 2nd 2014, at Cagliari Airport: located in front of the Arrivals, it adds 80 parking spaces to the overall capacity of the ‘Mario Mameli’ which now totals 1,250. The new Terminal Car Park will be free of charge for the first 15 minutes; for stays longer than 15 minutes a fare of 1 euro/hour will be applied.

New flights to Minsk by Belavia

Starting tomorrow Belavia will operate the route Cagliari-Minsk with its Boeing 737-800 aircrafts. The direct charter flights connecting South Sardinia with the Belarusian capital will be available from June 1st till September 13th 2014.
