New 'VIP Service' available at Cagliari Airport

Cagliari Airport launches its new ‘VIP Service’: a wide variety of privileges granted exclusively to the most discerning passengers travelling on scheduled and charter flights. Companies and individual guests can request vip assistance and premium services such as dedicated multilingual hostesses, access to the VIP lounges, Fast Track security checks, priority boarding, porter services, private transfers and much more.

New Ryanair flights to London and Kaunas

Ryanair will connect Cagliari to London Gatwick and Kaunas during the next winter season. Flights to London will take off 3 times a week (on Monday, Friday and Sunday) starting November 6th, while the route between Cagliari and Kaunas - the second-largest city in Lithuania – will be operated twice a week (on Monday and Thursday) from November 7th. “Cagliari VIVA!” starts its Sardinian campaign

Last Thursday and Friday (27th-28th June 2013) “Cagliari VIVA!" launched its first campaign to raise stroke and heart attack public awareness. Volunteers showed passengers and visitors of Cagliari Airport the basics of CPR and first aid: if needed everyone could be a lifesaver. More info on

Fast Track service now available

A new Fast Track service, the quickest route to the Departure area through security, is now available at Cagliari Airport. The access to the dedicated security channel is granted with no extra charges to all Meridiana ‘Premium’ and ‘Fly-pass’ passengers and with a 5€ fee to travellers who prefer to save time for relaxing or shopping at the airport. Tickets for the Fast Track express lane are sold by automated machines located before security. The Fast Track service is also available for all major Airlines willing to pamper their premium passengers.

Volotea resumes flights to Ancona

Tomorrow the low cost carrier will resume its flights connecting Cagliari to Ancona. Volotea’s come back on the route aims to increase tourism-generated earnings both in Sardinia and in the Marche region. During this summer flights will be operated twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday.

Vueling takes off to Barcellona

Tomorrow Vueling will take off for the first time from Cagliari Airport and begin its scheduled services to Barcelona El Prat. The new non-stop flight route will be operated 3 times a week (on Monday, Friday and Sunday) during June, July and September, and 4 times a week (on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) in August.
