Airport to help cruise industry in Cagliari

Cagliari Airport has joined forces with Cagliari Port Authority, the Municipality of Cagliari and Cagliari Cruise Port with a memorandum of understanding that will enable cruise passengers to better enjoy their travel experience in Sardinia’s biggest city. Improved logistics for passengers and their luggage - together with other measures - might help Cagliari to become a ‘home port’ for cruise ships from all over the world.

Berlin Tegel added to easyJet’s network

A brand new destination by easyJet: flights connecting Cagliari and Berlin Tegel - the main airport of Germany’s capital – are now on sale on the airline’s website and through easyJet’s official sales channels. The route will be operated 6 times a week starting from August 4th 2018. easyJet’s network at Cagliari Airport offers now non-stop flight connections to a total of 9 destinations.

Ryanair: cabin bags policy change

Starting from January 15th 2018 only passengers who have purchased Priority, Flexi Plus, Plus or Family Plus will be permitted to bring both of their cabin bags (1 bigger cabin bag and 1 small cabin bag) on board. All other customers are only allowed to bring 1 small bag on board; their second 10kg bag will be tagged at the gate and put into the hold free of charge. For more details: 



2017: Cagliari Airport shatters annual traffic record

Cagliari Airport announces a new all-time record for traffic, serving 4,149,585 passengers in 2017. Overall  traffic grew by 12.6% year-over-year, with 462,839 more  travelers than in 2016. The milestone of 4 million passengers was set on December 14th last year. Cagliari Airport posted a record 38% increase in international traffic.
