Authorities, managers, artists and press have gathered today for the official inauguration of ISOLA, the new Sardinian handcraft boutique at Cagliari Airport. The shop will showcase Sardinian handcraftship at its best and support the brand ‘Sardinia’ among tourists and business travellers taking off from Cagliari.

Second Airport Users’ Public Hearing on Fees ’16-’19

Within the framework of the procedure regarding the proposed revision of Airport Fees for the 2016-2019 Tariff Period, SOGAER - Cagliari Airport managing company – has convened the Second Users’ Public Hearing on July 18th 2016. The hearing will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Cagliari Airport Business Centre (2nd floor of the air terminal).

Cagliari Airport shareholders approve 2015 annual report

On June 27th 2016 Cagliari Airport shareholders approved the 2015 annual report and appointed the board which will serve until the approval of the 2016 financial statement. Mr. Carlo Ibba has been confirmed President of Cagliari Airport's board of directors, while Mr. Gavino Pinna and Ms. Elisabetta Cherchi have been respectively reappointed Vice President and board member.  The closure of the 2015 financial year marked a 2,109,011 Euro profit for Cagliari Airport.


Volotea to resume its Ancona route

The Spanish low cost carrier adds Ancona to its summer network 2016 from Cagliari Airport. Starting tomorrow Volotea will operate one flight a week (on Saturdays) until July 23rd. The route will then be operated twice a week (on Wednesdays and Sundays). Info and tickets at

University meets Business at Cagliari Airport

Over the next two days 60 researchers from the University of Cagliari will be joined by members of Sardinian enterprises at Cagliari Airport Business Centre to discuss how to cooperate in implementing economic growth. A strong university-business cooperation could boost the activities in eight different thematic areas such as Aerospace, Agrifood, Bioeconomy, Biomedicine, Economy and Management, Energy, ICT, Tourism of Cultural and Environmental Assets.
