SOGAER at the Campionaria della Sardegna

SOGAER, managing company of Cagliari Airport, will showcase its destinations network at the most important Sardinian international exhibition. Billboards advertising direct flights operated by 25 airlines to 60 destinations in 17 countries will be easily spotted by visitors on the fairground. The Campionaria, this year in its 68th edition, is open until May 2nd.

Fast Track: new partnership with Cagliari Calcio F.C.

Cagliari Airport and Cagliari Calcio Football Club have signed an agreement on premium airport services, including the Fast Track security lane. From now on players and team staff members flying from Cagliari to play away matches will be granted priority access to the boarding area.

Volotea bets bigger on Cagliari Airport

Volotea strengthens its partnership with Cagliari Airport. This year the Spanish carrier will operate 7 non stop connections to and from Cagliari: in addition to Venice, Catania and Ancona, Volotea now flies also to Naples, Genova, Turin and Verona. More big news coming up from the Catania route that will be serviced by Volotea all year round for the first time ever.

FIA: fundraising and awareness campaign for autism

The ninth annual World Autism Awareness Day is April 2, 2016. FIA (Italian Autism Foundation) celebrates the day with many other autism organizations around the world with fundraising and an awareness-raising campaign. Donations can be made by sending a text message to 45507. Cagliari Airport supports the campaign along with the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, Assaeroporti and other major Italian airports. Discounted fares on Meridiana until March 21st

Meridiana launches today its ‘All you can fly': Sardegna’ campaign. Discounted fares are available on the carrier’s flights operated  to and from Sardinia between April 11th and September 30th 2016 if booked before midnight on March 21st.

Cagliari Airport launches its Summer ‘16 flight schedule

Tour operators, travel agencies and hotel managers have gathered today at Cagliari Airport for the launch of the IATA Summer Season 2016. Starting from March 27th new flights and new carriers will connect South Sardinia with Italy and Europe, along with airlines operating on an annual basis and carriers resuming their traditional summer schedules to and from Cagliari.
