Musician Daniele Ledda to perform at Cagliari Airport
Experimental music is expected to land at the Cagliari Airport Library on August 24th at 20.00 local time. An encore is scheduled at 21.00 local time. Musician Daniele Ledda will act as pilot in command.
Music for Cagliari Airport is the title of the original track composed for the occasion by Mr. Ledda himself in cooperation with the airport managing company SOGAER and the music research platform TiConZero. Drawing inspiration from Brian Eno’s Ambient 1: Music for Airports, Daniele Ledda’s contemporary music is a very special tribute to an even more special place. A video of the event will be made available for passengers and visitors of Cagliari Airport.
Both performances will feature the Clavius, a musical instrument developed by Mr. Ledda to enable a unique experience where sounds and visual effects are triggered by the actions of the musician playing the instrument. An audience of maximum 30 people will be allowed to enjoy each of the two sessions.
