New environmental certification for Cagliari Airport

Cagliari Airport has obtained Level 2 certification of ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) scheme.

The Level 2 - REDUCTION certification is a further step towards a greener way of conducting business at the airport and a great achievement for SOGAER. In the past years the airport manager has thoroughly mapped its CO₂ emissions in order to adopt ways of gradually lowering its carbon footprint.

After a number of targeted investments, Cagliari Airport is now been able to significantly reduce CO₂ emission level and stands on track for a further 80% reduction by year 2024.
