Ryanair today in Cagliari to present its S22 programme

The widest flight network ever with the aim of bringing more tourists to Sardinia and more Sardinians to domestic and international destinations. Four brand new routes to Carcassonne, Palma de Mallorca, Nuremberg and Poznan, a third aircraft for its operational base in Cagliari and a Summer network of 38 destinations: these are the key elements of today’s press conference at Cagliari Airport.

Jason McGuinness, Director of Commercial Ryanair, Raymond Kelliher, Director of Routes Development Ryanair, Mauro Bolla, Country Manager Ryanair per l'Italia, Renato Branca, Cagliari Airport CEO, David Crognaletti, Cagliari Airport COO, and  Gianni Chessa, Sardinia’s regional councillor for tourism were joined this morning by Cagliari Airport Chairman Monica Pilloni to give the press a broad outline of the airline’s plans for its near future in Cagliari.

With an additional investment of $100 million for a total $300 million commitment in Cagliari, Ryanair strongly believes that its over 170 weekly flights will boost the island’s economic growth also thanks to a seat availability increased by 50% when compared to pre-pandemic levels.
