‘Wildlife strike’, a workshop on safety at the airport

SOGAER joined forces with the Italian Flight Safety Committee in order to promote aviation safety through a workshop. Operators and authorities from the industry will meet tomorrow in Cagliari at the airport’s Business Centre and discuss with a panel of experts how to cut wildlife strike events. The focus will be on the possible use of drones to effectively minimize the impact of ‘Birdstrike’ and ‘Collision Wildlife’ on Italian airports and reduce related costs.
