Big launch for Volotea new Cagliari base

Volotea’s president and founder Carlos Muñoz has landed in Sardinia this morning for the press launch of the airline’s brand new operational base at Cagliari Airport. Authorities, travel agents, hotel managers and other operators of the travel industry have gathered together with the press in the airport’s Business Centre to learn about the details of Volotea’s plan for South Sardinia. In 2019 the low cost will operate from Cagliari to 15 destinations (including 5 new cities such as Palermo, Prague, Pescara, Marseille and Strasbourg), extend the seasonal availability of 4 routes (Bordeaux, Lyon, Naples and Nantes) and increase the frequency of 2 other routes (Lyon and Naples).
