Traffic wardens on duty at the airport

Starting today a team of traffic wardens will be on duty at Cagliari Airport. The wardens - employed by the airport’s managing company with the aim of enhancing safety and minimizing traffic congestion on the roads surrounding the Passenger Terminal - will wear a traffic vest and a whistle along with a personal badge in order to be easily recognisable.
They will report any breach of the traffic rules set by the Italian National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) for vehicles driving in the near proximity of the Passenger Terminal. Transgressors will be notified of an impeding traffic ticket with a standard form that includes instructions for payment to ENAC.
