July: Cagliari Airport enjoys bounce in passenger figures

The main Sardinian airport welcomed some 450,000 travellers in July 2021, marking a 83 percent increase compared to July 2020. Overall numbers for June and July indicate around 710,000 total passengers.

July’s positive trend was driven by growing domestic traffic (+79%) and encouraging performances of the international routes (+100%).

Traffic recovery will continue throughout the summer thanks to a very appealing flight network featuring 85 destinations directly connected to Cagliari.
