Tackling breast cancer with prevention at Cagliari Airport

Prevention is key in helping women to fight their battle against breast cancer. During October 2024, Cagliari Airport has chosen to celebrate the Breast Cancer Awareness Month by organizing a meeting led by the oncologist Dr Daniele Farci on how to minimize multiple risk factors and detect the disease in its early stages.

Furthermore, on the occasion of Pink October, Cagliari Airport has made available to all female workers 4 days of free breast cancer screenings that will take place inside the air terminal.

Cagliari Airport commitment for the wellbeing of female workers has been rewarded by a wide participation: online bookings show great appreciation for the screenings so far.
