Domestic passengers reach new record at Cagliari Airport

Travellers on domestic routes between May and August 2022 have set a new record high with figures indicating ca. 1.5 million passengers flying to or from Cagliari Airport. It is a sharp increase in comparison with last year (+37%) and a very good performance even when compared to 2019 (+6%).

With some 600,000 passengers travelling on international routes, the main Sardinian airport has welcomed about 2.1 million flyers in total during the first 4 summer months.

Figures recorded in the first 8 months of 2022 almost match pre-pandemic traffic levels with around 3 million total passengers.
