Music in the air(port)!

An acoustic piano has just landed at Cagliari Airport: passengers and visitors strolling through the main hall at the Departures level will be able to relax while enjoying the music and even play the piano if they feel like entertaining their fellow travellers.

The brand new feature of Cagliari Airport was celebrated in collaboration with Teatro Lirico di Cagliari thanks to Superintendent Nicola Colabianchi and pianist Francesco Massimi (see photo).

Cagliari Airport bets now heavily on art for enhancing the overall travel experience and make the airport a cultural hub of its own kind. That is exactly why two new exhibitions are currently on display inside Cagliari Airport Library, one dedicated to black&white photography (Aguanta by Francesco Zizola) and the other to modern painting (Segno, colore, superficie by Mariella Mibelli).
