New parking area and improved road system
A brand new parking area has been inaugurated today, July 2nd 2014, at Cagliari Airport: located in front of the Arrivals, it adds 80 parking spaces to the overall capacity of the ‘Mario Mameli’ which now totals 1,250. The new Terminal Car Park will be free of charge for the first 15 minutes, for stays longer than 15 minutes a fare of 1 euro/hour will be applied.
Traffic-easing measures have been implemented on the land-side road system ensuring a smooth and safe vehicle flow along the passenger Terminal and an easier access to the parking areas.
Moreover, Cagliari Airport will soon have a new Kiss&Fly Car Park right in front of the Departures area and further changes will enhance the efficiency of the airport road system and discourage unauthorized parking on transit-only lanes.
