Passenger numbers hit new record in 2018

Last year’s traffic figures were the best ever at Cagliari Airport: 4,355,357 passengers took off from or landed at the main Sardinian hub during 2018.

The numbers show an increase of 5% versus 2017 with a remarkable performance of the international flights, which have grown by 24.3% in terms of travelers carried (1,097,830 in total).

The Winter season has started with 10 brand new routes and 35 cities directly connected to Cagliari by scheduled services: it is no surprise that the figures recorded during the last holiday season have been very positively received by the airport managing company’s (SOGAER) top management.
