S22 ends with new record, W22-23 features 33 routes

With over 420,000 passengers last October has been the busiest ever at Cagliari Airport: the new traffic record represents a perfect way to end the IATA Summer Season 2022 on a very positive note and start the Winter Season 2022-2023 with optimism.

This year 3,031,552 travellers have chosen the main Sardinian hub between May and October marking an increase of 1 million units on the same time frame in 2021.

Pre-pandemic traffic levels and a flight network featuring 24 domestic (including 2 new entries) and 9 international destinations should allow the airport manager to reach and exceed the threshold of 4 million passengers by the end of 2022.
