New emegency drill at Cagliari Airport

Late at night last Friday Cagliari Airport has conducted a full-scale drill to test the emergency procedures currently in place to face the unfortunate event of a plane accident.

At the agreed moment, rescuers and fire brigades have rushed to a B-737 Aeroitalia plane. The scenario involved a runway excursion with 80 passengers on board, all played by volunteers.

More than 150 people belonging to different Authorities, companies and one school took part in the emergency drill that lasted about 4 hours.
