New park for Elmas to be opened soon

A brand-new park is currently being created just between the town of Elmas and Cagliari Airport.

The airport managing company has already started up the park’s construction site surrounding Santa Caterina of Semelia monumental complex.

The green area, conceived to safeguard a unique natural environment and highlight its archaeological beauty, is meant to be open to the public in a few months. Works for the new park will be entirely funded by Cagliari Airport.
