Selfportraits by Walter Boï still on display

"Paris rue de Lancry, DiARiO” by Walter Boï taking place inside the Cagliari Airport Library will conrtinue until Oct. 14th 2024.

The exhibition, curated by Yuria Mizuta, features 55 selfportraits, a series of snapshots taken by the artist during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020.

Set in his own flat in rue de Lancry, Paris, the images show Walter Boï's ability to play with light and shades, in order to trick the viewer and enabling a mutual exchange between art and reality, the photographer and its audience, the ambitions of a life and the constricted environment in which he operated.
