Tap&Tap payments available for trains connecting Cagliari to its airport

Starting today, Monday 1st July 2024, passengers travelling by train from Cagliari Airport (Elmas Aeroporto is the name of the airport’s train station) to the city centre and viceversa will be able to pay their faire simply by tapping a contactless card or device on the card readers at the start and at the end of their journey.

To pay the right fare, it is necessary to use the same contactless card or device to tap in at the train station before entering the train and tap out when at destination.
