Traffic at Cagliari Airport hits new record in May

May 2022 is the best May ever in Cagliari Airport history in terms of traffic: 412,605 total passengers for a growth of +280% when compared to the same month of 2021 and an increase of +5% versus May 2019.

From January to May 2022 figures show a great performance of both domestic (+210%) and international routes (+3.000%) attracting about 1.28 Milion passengers in total. Aircrafts movements have also increased 2021 figures by 150%.

Cagliari Airport top management is pleased with this year's results so far and is confident that IATA Summer Season 2022 will see a large number of passengers choosing to travel by air from and to South Sardinia. Thanks to a network of 91 European and domestic destinations easily connected to Cagliari by no-stop flights, tourists and residents are now provided with a wide choice of travel options for their next trips.
