15th PMI DAY hosted by Cagliari Airport

Open day at the airport for a group of students from IIS 'Scano - Bacaredda' in Cagliari to celebrate the latest edition of the PMI DAY, organized by Confindustria - the association representing manufacturing and service companies in Italy - on a national basis every year.

With the aim of enabling more and more young people to get the first glimpses of the job market and spark some interest in the actual corporate world, the Piccola Industria branch of Confindustria has involved over 500,000 students since the beginning in 2010.

This year’s event at Cagliari Airport has started with a joint welcome speech by Matteo Baire, president of Piccola Industria Committee of Confindustria Sardegna, and Monica Pilloni, Cagliari Airport chairperson, later joined by Cagliari Airport CEO Fabio Mereu.

A Q&A session with Dr. Pilloni was followed by a tour of the facilities, during which a few ITC and Operations topics were discussed with some of the company’s managers.
