50 years of flying: exhibition celebrating the State Police at Cagliari Airport

Le Ali della Polizia, an exhibition displaying 16 shots by the photographer Massimo Sestini is set to open on Friday 7th June 2024, in the central hall of Cagliari Airport Arrivals area. Authorities will gather tomorrow at noon for the official inauguration.

The images celebrating the first 50 years of activity of the Italian State Police Flight Department (1971-2021) are selected from the book Le Ali della Polizia published by Sestini in 2022.

After July 15th 2024, the traveling exhibition will resume its flight to land in Palermo, and then in other important Italian airports located near to the operational bases of the Italian State Police Flight Department.
