Cappato’s L’indice sinistro at Cagliari Airport Library

Cagliari Airport Library will host the presentation of L’indice sinistro by Alessandro Cappato on Friday, March 28th, at 4PM.

As a Cagliari-based teacher turned activist and writer, Cappato describes being affected by Multiple Sclerosis and living the painful but courageous life of a man now paralyzed from the head down and stuck on a bed or a customized wheelchair.

Cagliari Airport is giving a platform to Cappato to help shining a light on a complex and global theme such as the life of individuals and families deeply impacted by MS.

Based on Cecilia Malavasi’s initiative, the reading taking place this coming Friday at Cagliari Airport Library will feature a short presentation by the local writer Monica Aschieri and include a live performance by singer and actress Silvia Serafi, accompanied by Maestro Gino Mazzullo at the guitar.

The author himself is due to attend the event.
